This half-day ancient town tour starts with hotel pick-up; please advise your preferred pick-up time when you book the tour. Generally, we suggest the starting time from 9 am to 1 pm. On your travel day, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby in the Shanghai city area. Then, drive about 50 minutes to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. Stroll along the old-time town as listening to the introduction by your guide about its history, which dates back to even 1,700 years ago, as early as the time of Three Kingdoms. The appearance of the town we see today was left from the Ming Dynasty. Nowadays, the ancient town is best known for its bridges, old streets, and gardens built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. 

The highlighted things to see here are Fangsheng Bridge, Baoguo Temple, Town God's Temple, and Zhuxi Garden (at your own expense). Capture snapshots of charming alleyways and ancient stone houses. There's an option to take a boat to cruise the old canal, which is based on your interest and at your own expense. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your downtown hotel.
