Get picked up at around 8:00 am by our guide and driver from your hotel in Beijing downtown area. First we will head to Summer Palace. It locates at the west skirt of Beijing and covers an area of 290 hectares. In the Qing Dynastery during the Qianlong Era, the Summer Palace was built by imitating the layout of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Now it is the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. 

After lunch, we will drive about 45 minutes to visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall. The mountain slope is very steep and the roads are tortuous, which makes it an important military stronghold in ancient time. The wall is like a strong dragon winding its way along the mountain ranges. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. Today you will also pay a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks. As well as the Chinese Tea Market to learn about some tradition of tea drinking and you could optionally try some kinds of best Chinese tea. 

After visiting, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Beijing downtown at around 5:00 pm.
