In the morning at about 7:30 am, our guide and driver will pick you up holding a sign with your name from your Shanghai downtown hotel and drive about 2 hours to take you to Hangzhou. Today's first stop will be Six Harmonies Pagoda on the bank of the Qiantang River. The pagoda was built in Northern Song dynasty to suppress the tide of Qiantang river, which plus Baochu Pagoda and Leifeng Pagoda are considered as three most renowned pagodas in Hangzhou. Later on, you will pay a short visit to Meijiawu Tea Village to appreciate traditional tea ceremony and learn about Chinese tea culture.

In the afternoon we will move to the better known West Lake, one of the top sought-after scenic spots in China where have been praised and eulogized by many Chinese literati. The scenery in all the four seasons are interesting. You will take a cruise on the lake to meet the highlight mini scenery sites of the area like Three Pagoda Mirroring the Moon, Solitary Hill, Leifeng Pagoda. After the cruising, you can wander around the lake and there are also other optional activities here, like fishing or riding bikes, ect. You are free to fully enjoy the lake if time permits.

After the tour finishes, you will be escorted back to hotel by guide and driver.
