Around 6:00am-7:00am pick up from your hotel in downtown Beijing and drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall is located about 70 km from downtown Beijing. The Mutianyu Great Wall was firstly built in the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. The famous general, Xu Da, of the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) supervised and directed the construction of the Great Wall on the base of great wall built in earlier periods. With guiding of the local guide, you will explore that part of Great Wall without hassle. After the tour, drive back to hotel. Comfortable shoes will be must for hiking and the tour guide will give detailed introduction on Great Wall hiking on the way.
