In the morning around 8am or 1pm (you can leave a note about your preferred time), our guide and driver will meet you at your downtown hotel lobby in Beijing. After pickup, you will be escorted to Badaling Great Wall. This part of the Great Wall is 40km from Beijing downtown and your drive will last about 40 minutes. It would be a good chance to see the urban and suburban scenery of Chinese capital city. Badaling Great Wall is the most famous and the best-preserved section of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall. The mountain slope is very steep and the roads are tortuous, which makes it an important military stronghold in ancient time. The wall is like a strong dragon winding its way along the mountain ranges. We will spend about 2 hours to hike on the Great Wall. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. And our guide will help you buy the ticket. After visiting, you will be escorted back to your downtown hotel. The whole travel schedule lasts around 4-5 hours.
