Around 8:00 am, meet our guide and driver who will greet you holding a board with your name at your Beijing downtown hotel. After pickup, we will go to and take a walk on the North Tiananmen Square first, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. You can also see the Chairman Mao's portrait hanging on the wall of the Gate of Heavenly Peace, which adds a sense of majesty of this grand square. Then you will be led to the Forbidden City, one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built with wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties once lived here.

After lunch, we will drive about 1 hour to visit Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty in 1368. 90 percentage of the Mutianyu is covered by vegetation. Go climbing and hiking on the old Great Wall, where visitors will spontaneously arise a feeling of respect and admiration when seeing the panoramic view of the winding Great Wall. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional (cost on your own).

After the exciting day tour, you will be transferred back to your downtown hotel safely with great joy and harvest.

Special note: The Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, so please try avoid taking the tour on this day. If your travel date
must be Monday, we will visit another site instead or refund you the entrance fee of Forbidden City.
